Olga de Souza (Rio de Janeiro, 16 de julho de 1968), cujo nome artístico é Corona, é uma cantora brasileira de dance music.Olga originalmente não provém do mundo do entretenimento, já que trabalhava em um banco antes de virar artista (Caixa Econômica Federal). Certo dia, entediada de sua vida como escriturária, resolveu jogar tudo para o alto e ir para a Itália, depois que um amigo próximo lhe falou dos encantos e das possibilidades do país. Quando ela chegou lá, decidiu fazer uma mudança radical em sua vida ao começar uma carreira artística. Felizmente, Corona encontrou o produtor italiano Francesco Bontempi ("Checco" para os íntimos), que viu na moça a pessoa ideal para encabeçar o grupo. Corona na verdade foi um projeto criado por Bontempi (Lee Marrow), que escreveu e arranjou as músicas do grupo.Após os primeiros encontros, Olga e Francesco começaram o novo projeto já oficialmente denomiado "Corona". O primeiro hit foi The Rhythm of the Night, lançado em dezembro de 1993 pelo selo DWA Records. Teve lançamento mundial nos maiores mercados, inclusive o norte-americano. Ela andava sumida. Mas ninguém havia esquecido daquela que, em 1994, tomou de assalto rádios, pistas e DJs do mundo inteiro com apenas um single.. "The Rhythm Of The Night" foi para muitos um marco da Dance Music, pois, como se não bastasse a música em si, a produção trazia novos conceitos, a consagrada fórmula "ritmo + melodia", que impulsionou outros artistas e fez da cantora Corona um fenômeno, mundialmente falando.
